WHAT IS COLON HYDROTHERAPY?

Colon Hydrotherapy is referred to as colon irrigation, colonics, colon therapy, or high enemas.  All devices use safe, filtered, temperature-controlled water into the colon by way of a sterile, disposable rectal tube.  Water in- waste matter flushed out.

This procedure removes fecal material from the colon walls and dilutes the bacterial toxin concentration in the large intestine.  The therapeutic effects of colon hydrotherapy are improved muscle tone which facilitates peristaltic action and enhances the absorption of nutrients from the cecum and ascending colon while minimizing the absorption of toxic waste material.

The cleansing effects of colon hydrotherapy reduce stagnation and subsequent bacterial proliferation in the colon and maintain harmony of the intestinal flora in promoting optimal health.

This is the Guide I use when preparing for a Colonic Session:

THE DAY BEFORE AND DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT:

I eat only fruits and vegetables or their juices prior to each Colon hydrotherapy session. Sometimes I may take a Fiber supplement such as:- Psyllium Husk fiber.

VERY IMPORTANT:  If I am doing a series of colonics, then I take a probiotic supplement to support my intestinal flora, which would help replenish the good bacteria.

If I cannot  eat only fruits and vegetables, I  just keep my meals simple, and add the fruits and vegetables throughout the day, I call this nutrient loading. The purpose of this, is to increase my vitamin/mineral intake, and the fiber is a bonus!

NUTRIENT LOADING:

Nutrient loading and probiotics are a must for me because we lose nutrients and good bacteria while cleansing the large intestines. Resources I use for nutrient loading are: blends of  powerful super-food powders including: Chlorella, Spirulina, Colostrum, Goji, Acai, Cocoa, Bone Broth, Hemp, and or a complete vitamin/ mineral supplement.

I Avoid: White flour, white sugar, caffeine, carbonated beverages, dairy, alcohol, and “fat-free” labeled items.

MY AFTER-CARE RECIPE:

I stay away from chicken, meat and dairy for the following two days, and I also do the nutrient loading again to replenish my vitamins and minerals along with my probiotics.  I stay hydrated and drink electrolyte water, such as: coconut water.

THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT:

No food 3 hours prior to appointment time, no liquids 1 hour before appointment time.  Stay Hydrated with water. Lateness- May result in a shorter treatment time or clients may have to re-schedule.

Notes: Please speak to your physician about  refraining from all kinds of pain meds 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
